As an HVAC Technician, you will receive On-The-Job Training (OJT) under our licensed Lead Technician to learn the different locations and systems that we have at our facility. Your daily tasks will be to assist and perform service and repair roof top units, air handling systems, air quality systems and other HVAC related equipment.
Description
During the OJT process, your main responsibilities include the following:
- Observing current practices.
- Documenting all work performed in a work order software (Prism).
- Assisting with locating and diagnosing maintenance problems on various equipment, conducting routine periodic services (i.e. coil cleaning, filter replacement, unit inspections, cleaning roof top units, clearing roof drains, re-labeling equipment, etc.)
- Quickly performing emergency repairs on certain equipment assets.
Pending OJT completion and Lead Technician approval, the responsibilities will become focused on a select group of buildings and tasks as fit to your strengths, understanding and experience level.
